Local to Sacramento, Rachel L. Ertassi loves thrillers as a writer and a reader. Rachel is an Alumni of Sacramento State University and is currently there working on her Master’s degree in Public Health. Her debut novel, City of Trees, City of Shadows, is a thriller set in Midtown Sacramento that captures the soul of the city with a chilling twist and a violent lens. She mentions many shops and venues around the city and has been praised for writing a story about Sacramento for the locals. Her new novel, Turn of the Tide, is a thriller set in Bodega Bay. Turn of the Tide tackles themes of growing up, changing friendships, and grief while still appealing to the blood lust of a thriller loving audience. She has received positive feedback for the new novel and is excited to share it with the reader community.
