Registration Request Forms Are Now Open
Registrations are now open for the 2027 Sacramento Book Festival, which will take place at the University Union on the Sac State Campus in East Sacramento from 10 AM to 4 PM on June 5th, 2027. Tables will be assigned by the Sacramento Book Festival staff. All author, publisher, writer association, bookstore, and literary organization tables will be indoors and air-conditioned. Tables and chairs will be provided, but you will need to provide your own table coverings. If you are accepted, we will let you know and ask for payment in January.
NOTE: WE ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT FOR AUTHORS AND VENDORS ACROSS ALL CATEGORIES. YOU CAN STILL SIGN UP BELOW – YOU WILL BE ADDED TO OUR WAITLIST AND NOTIFIED IF SPACE OPENS UP.
If You Are:
A Young Adult or General Adult Author
Use one of the four forms below. All four are the same – we have set up multiple forms in case any one of them gets bogged down with sign-up traffic. These 3′ wide x 2.5′ deep (half table) spaces are $60.

A Children’s or Middle Grade Author
Use the form below. All of our Children’s programming will take place on the third floor of the University Union. YA authors should use the YA/General Adult forms above). These 3′ wide x 2.5′ deep (half table) spaces are $60.
Children’s/MG Author Request Form
A Writer Association or Publisher
Use the form below. For multiple author groups who plan to sell books at the festival – local or genre writing associations and publishers. These 6′ wide x 2.5′ deep (full table) spaces are $150 for Writer Associations and $175 for Publishers. Note: you should not have more than 4 authors at your table at a time.

A Literary Organization (Non-Selling)
Use the form below. For non-selling literary organizations (libraries, literacy groups, other festivals/conventions etc). These 3′ wide x 2.5′ deep (half table) spaces are free.
Writing Organization Request Form
A Bookstore
Use the form below. For bookstores who sell multiple authors’ books. These spaces come with two 6′ wide x 2.5′ deep tables in an “L” configuration, inside the main bookselling hall. These spaces are $200.
