D.L. O’Neil lives a bi-coastal existence, balancing time in northern California with family time in eastern Pennsylvania. As both a traveler and an observer of life, O’Neil’s stories reflect the people she meets and the places she visits. Her pockets or backpack are filled with notes and ideas scribbled on receipts, envelopes, and even cocktail napkins at the end of a trip.
O’Neil spent a lifetime thinking creatively, but her foray into writing follows more than thirty years using the analytic side of her brain. She includes a bit of herself in each book, weaving an event or experience from her non-literary life. When not writing she can be found near a golf course, on a hiking trail, or in her wood shop.
