Sharon Marie Provost is an award-winning author who specializes in horror, thrillers, and speculative fiction. Beginning her career in late 2023, she has published a novella, two short story collections, and two collaborative collections of short stories with her husband. Her first novel, Dark Arts: Love Me Tinder, was published in 2024. It has received acclaim for its detailed and chilling story of a serial killer who turns his victims into works of art. In 2025, her “Shadow’s Gate” received the Imadjinn Award for Best Short Story Collection, and she published two collaborative novels with Stephen H. Provost: Azrael’s Assassin: Testament in Blood and Evermore: Dark Soulmates. Sharon is the chief operating officer of Dragon Crown Books. She has lived in Carson City since 1987.
