After retiring from a career devoted to urban planning and developing transit projects, RoseMary Covington Morgan began her writing career in 2019. Since then, the anthology publications of Storytellers-Tales from the Rio Vista Writers’ Group, School Shopping, ‘Twas, and My Big Red Shadow in the Northern California Publishers and Authors (NCPA) have published several of her short stories, along with two poems in NCPA publications. Also, the California Writer’s Club published her short story Minnow Mildred in their 2022 literary journal, Visions.

In addition to her published short stories, her debut novel, Swimming Through Mud, is available for purchase in both digital and print formats. In 2025, her novella The Dancer- A Murder Mystery and her short story collection, Slices of American Life, became available for purchase at booksellers worldwide.

RoseMary was born in St.Louis, MO, and currently lives in Elk Grove, CA.
