Chef Rogelio Garcia is a James Beard Award–winning chef, author, and culinary leader whose journey from Mexico City to the heart of Napa Valley has defined him as one of today’s most compelling voices in modern cuisine. Raised in Napa after immigrating from Mexico, Garcia began cooking at local restaurants before earning his place in some of the country’s most acclaimed kitchens, including The French Laundry, Cyrus, Spruce, and Luce. Each step sharpened his craft and fueled his vision of food as both cultural expression and storytelling.

In 2023, Garcia achieved a career milestone when he earned his first Michelin star, an honor he went on to retain in 2024 and 2025, making him one of the few chefs in Napa Valley with such recognition.
