Her baby sister called her Nonie, one great granddaughter and a great grandson, call her GumGum, but the 2-year-old sister of one, pronounces it NyumNyum. Norma Jean Thornton, AKA "Nonie", or "Noniedoodles", a multiple County and State Fair Award-Winning Baker, Candy Maker and Art Doodler, plus Award- Winning Writing Granny from Rio Linda, CA, creates her doodle-art and dabbles with writing at the computer, with unwanted help from her feisty cats and one very jealous chihuahua. Norma is a member of SCBWI, Sisters in Crime, Capitol Crimes, past member of CWC, RWA & SVR, and is also deeply involved with Norther California Publishers & Authors (NCPA), She's also grandmother, granny, or grams, to 19, great grandmother to 30, and great-great-grandmother to one.
