Mary Alice Stephens is a creative nonfiction storyteller. A former television writer-producer for HGTV, Food Network, and other media outlets, Mary shares her powerful story of sobriety, family, and starting life anew at 45 in her debut book, Uncorked: A Memoir of Letting Go and Starting Over, an Amazon #1 new release in alcoholism recovery and midlife self-help. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Dominican University of California and lives in Marin County, California. When she’s not writing, she can be found cyberstalking her college-age kids, planning their next family adventure, or searching for her phone.
