Kavita Dorai is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) in California with a BS in Chemistry and MS in Botany (Microbiology). She believes in the power of storytelling by simplifying concepts.
In her book, Keshu-Climate change and a brave little fish, she shows readers that climate change is not one gigantic monolithic issue but rather made up of many elements that can be improved collectively. The story is about a little fish's adventure, survival, and coming of age with a focus on surviving adversity. It is uplifting, introduces concepts of environmental health, and collective social responsibility.
Kavita lives in Sacramento, California, with her husband and German Shepherd dog. She enjoys travelling, reading, blogging, and her little garden with songbirds.
