Gina L. Mulligan has a MA in Creative Writing Prose Fiction from the University of East Anglia (UEA). She’s the author of two historical novels; Remember the Ladies and From Across the Room, and the bestselling non-fiction Dear Friend: Letters of Encouragement, Humor & Love for Women with Breast Cancer. Her short fiction has appeared in Paper Brigade, at Stories on Stage, and was longlisted for the 2022 First Pages Prize.
After her own diagnosis, Gina founded Girls Love Mail, a national charity that collects handwritten letters for women with breast cancer. Since the formation in 2011, the charity has sent out over 230,000 letters across the country. Gina has been featured on The NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, The Steve Harvey Show, People.com, Today.com, O, The Oprah Magazine, and Woman’s Day Magazine.
