By day, Rebecca Inch-Partridge is a mild-mannered freelance editor. At night, she's the
ruler of Paraxous Star Cluster—where her young adult science-fantasy novel is set in. A
lifelong science fiction fan, she’s been excited to see how the increased popularity of mixed-
genre novels has opened speculative fiction to mainstream readers. This trend helped lead
to the publication of the paranormal/mystery/thriller/romance that she co-authored with
her aunt Corrine Malcom Ibeling. Escaping the Dashia and Abby’s Fire are perfect examples
of the wide range of stories covered under the umbrella of speculative fiction.
Rebecca teaches writing workshops through Sierra College’s OLLI program. She is a
frequent panelist at science fiction conventions. Abby’s Fire: A Mt. Prospect Mystery took the Gold in the Northern California Publishers & Authors 2024 contest."
