Edie Cay writes award-winning historical romance. Her When the Blood Is Up series about historical women’s boxing has won the Golden Leaf Best First Book, the Next Generation Indie Book Award, the Best Indie Book Award (twice!), and has been a finalist for the HOLT Medallion, Chatelaine Award (twice), and Lambda Literary Award.
Edie obtained dual BAs in English and in Music, and an MFA in Creative Writing. She is a member of The Regency Fiction Writers, the Historical Novel Society, and a founding member of Paper Lantern Writers. Her latest series, The Ladies Alpine Society, is about Victorian era women mountaineers.
