Rosanne S. McHenry has worked as a National Park Ranger and a California State Park Ranger in many different locations over the years. Her recently released book – Tales from a Rogue Ranger – speaks to the comedy and tragedy of being a park ranger: a job that is nothing like you might imagine. Set against the stunning backdrop of California’s American River Canyon, this is an engaging and wildly unusual read about the untamed life of a woman ranger.
She is also the author of the book – Trip Tales: From Family Camping to Life as a Ranger, about how family camping trips as a child inspired her to become a National Park Ranger.
McHenry is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Next Generation Indie Book Awards, American Legacy Book Awards, Non Fiction Authors Award, and the International Book Awards.
