Kitchi Feenix grew up in California; a once spirited self, whose love of team sports and social settings helped provide an outlet for a challenging household. Adopted after being abandoned at birth, then repeatedly reminded of not being wanted from those who should have protected her, Kitchi learned from an early age to shut down, lose her light, and struggle to find a purpose; asking why, and whom am I?
After running away from home as a teen trying to find a place and meaning of her past she kept everyone at a arms distance due to loss of trust. Being employed in various jobs in her young adulthood, Kitchi wanted more. She enlisted into the U.S. Army and spent the next six years in logistics. Ending her enlistment as a Sergeant. She experienced one deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and the military seemed to take more than advertised.
